GLP-1 Observer
Overview
I build and edit GLP-1 Observer, an independent platform for following the fast-moving obesity-drug landscape. It brings together continuously updated clinical-trial data, structured evidence assessment, and plain-English explanations.
The GLP-1 Verdict
The GLP-1 Verdict is a continuously monitored scoreboard for obesity drugs. It grades each drug against others with the same route of administration, using placebo-adjusted weight loss, tolerability, and the strength of the supporting evidence. Projected results stay separate from confirmed Phase 3 and approved-drug verdicts, and every figure traces back to a primary source.
Clinical-trial dashboard
The GLP-1 Observer dashboard tracks clinical trials and drug programs across the major obesity-drug mechanisms. It pulls daily from ClinicalTrials.gov and other sources to surface timeline shifts, trial results, efficacy and safety signals, competitive pipelines, and upcoming readouts.
Field Guides
The GLP-1 Observer Field Guides are plain-English explainers on the major GLP-1 and incretin-based obesity-drug mechanisms. The current guides cover:
- GLP-1 mono agonists
- GLP-1/GIP dual agonists
- GLP-1/glucagon dual agonists
- GLP-1/GIP/glucagon triple agonists
- GLP-1/amylin combination approaches
Each guide connects the mechanism to the major drugs in its class and to evidence that continues to change over time.
The GLP-1 Subway
The GLP-1 Subway is a scroll-through explainer of how GLP-1 medicines work, set as a subway ride. Its seven stops run from the gut to the pancreas, the brain, and the rest of the body, and each stop is checked against the Field Guides and lists its sources. I wrote about why I built it and the AI tools I used.
